What is OrderBridge?
OrderBridge is a Shopify app that automatically imports your Etsy orders into your Shopify store. It helps multi-channel sellers manage all their orders from one place, eliminating manual copy-pasting and reducing fulfillment errors.
What does the browser extension do?
The optional Chrome extension helps US-based shops capture full shipping addresses from Etsy order pages (Etsy's API restricts address access for US sellers). It also pushes tracking numbers back to Etsy after you ship. Shops outside the US typically receive full addresses and automatic tracking push directly via the API, so the extension is optional for them. OrderBridge works without it, but most US sellers find it essential.
Why do SKUs need to match between Etsy and Shopify?
Matching SKUs are essential for OrderBridge to correctly link orders to the right products. When an Etsy order comes in, OrderBridge uses the SKU to identify which Shopify product to associate it with. The SKU Management tool lets you sync SKUs in either direction—push Shopify SKUs to Etsy or Etsy SKUs to Shopify, depending on your workflow.
How does the Inventory Hub work?
The Inventory Hub shows all your mapped products with their current inventory levels on both Etsy and Shopify. You can update quantities independently on each platform, or sync them with one click. Some Etsy listings share quantity across all variations—the Hub warns you about this so you don't accidentally affect other variants.
What counts as a billable order?
Only new orders placed on Etsy after you install OrderBridge count towards your monthly limit — including during your free trial. Orders placed on Etsy before you connected OrderBridge (historical backfill) are always free. Your counter resets at the start of each billing cycle.
What happens if I exceed my included orders?
You won't be blocked from syncing orders. On the Starter and Growth plans, orders beyond your included amount are charged at the overage rate. OrderBridge will continue syncing your orders seamlessly.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the billing section in your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately. For downgrades, the dashboard will show you the impact on your current usage before you confirm.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. API credentials are encrypted at rest. We don't sell or share your data with third parties. When you uninstall, your data is deleted within 30 days.
Can I notify customers automatically when their order ships?
Yes. The Tracking Notifications feature lets you send automatic emails to customers when their shipment status changes — In Transit, Out for Delivery, or Attempted Delivery. You choose which events trigger an email, customise the subject and message for each one, and configure your email provider (Resend, Postmark, or SendGrid). Every notification includes a one-click tracking button. Set it up under Settings → Tracking Notifications.
