Import your Etsy reviews to Shopify, get verified purchase badges, and build social proof that converts.

Get Started About Delayed Import

Why Integrate Judge.me with OrderBridge

Bring your Etsy social proof to Shopify automatically

Automate Review Collection

Stop manually copying reviews between platforms. OrderBridge automatically imports your Etsy reviews, lets you moderate them, and pushes them to Judge.me where they'll display beautifully on your Shopify store.

Get Verified Purchase Badges

When you use OrderBridge's delayed import feature, your reviews can be marked as "Verified Purchase" in Judge.me. This verification badge dramatically increases buyer trust and conversion rates.

Build Social Proof Faster

Import your entire Etsy review history to Shopify in minutes. No more starting from zero when you expand to Shopify. Your satisfied customers' reviews follow you, giving new visitors confidence to buy.

Centralize Review Management

Manage all your reviews from one place. OrderBridge pulls Etsy reviews, you moderate them in OrderBridge, then push to Judge.me where they display on your Shopify store. One workflow, multiple platforms.

Save Time & Increase Sales

  • Automated polling finds new Etsy reviews daily
  • Simple moderation interface - accept or reject
  • Batch push for importing review history quickly
  • Verified badges increase conversion rates
  • Display all reviews in Judge.me's professional widgets

Prerequisites

What you need before setting up the integration

Judge.me Must Be Installed First

Install Judge.me from the Shopify App Store before configuring OrderBridge integration. Complete Judge.me's initial setup in your Shopify store and verify Judge.me is active and working on your store.

Why Judge.me Works Better with OrderBridge

  • Real customer emails from delayed import enable proper review verification
  • Automated review requests reach actual buyers instead of placeholder addresses
  • Orders sync with complete customer data needed for Judge.me's email validation

Setup Instructions

Gathering your Judge.me credentials and connecting to OrderBridge

Step 1: Find Your Judge.me API Token

  1. Open the Judge.me app in your Shopify admin
  2. Click Integrations in the left column
  3. Click View API Token in the top right
  4. You'll see two pieces of information:
    • Shop Domain (your Shopify domain)
    • Private API Token (starts with jdg_)
  5. Copy both values - you'll need them for OrderBridge

Step 2: Enter in OrderBridge

  1. Open OrderBridge dashboard
  2. Navigate to SettingsJudge.me Integration
  3. Enter your Shop Domain
  4. Paste your Private API Token
  5. Click Save or Connect

How It Works

The complete review import workflow

1
OrderBridge polls Etsy

Based on your polling schedule, OrderBridge checks for new reviews on your Etsy shop

2
Reviews held in pending

All new Etsy reviews appear in the "Pending" area for your review

3
You moderate reviews

Review content, decide which to accept or reject based on quality and appropriateness

4
Accept reviews

Approved reviews move to "Accepted" status, ready to push to Judge.me

5
Push to Judge.me

Push reviews manually (one at a time) or in batch for efficient importing

Manual Push vs. Batch Push

Manual Push: Review each individual Etsy review and push to Judge.me when ready. Useful for careful curation, slower but more controlled.

Batch Push: Select multiple accepted reviews and push all at once to Judge.me. Faster for high-volume imports, efficient for importing Etsy review history.

Best Practice: Use batch push for initial import of existing Etsy reviews, then use manual push for ongoing review moderation as new reviews come in.

Review Verification Explained

Why delayed import matters for verified purchase badges

With Delayed Import

Orders created with real customer emails from the start

  • Real customer email captured from Etsy via extension
  • Order created in Shopify with actual customer email
  • Judge.me syncs order with real email from the start
  • Judge.me publishes the review
  • Judge.me sends verification email to customer
  • Customer clicks confirmation link
  • Review automatically marked as "Verified Purchase"
  • Full verification badge appears on review

Without Delayed Import

Orders created with placeholder emails

  • Order created with placeholder email (e.g., customer@etsy.com)
  • Judge.me syncs order with placeholder email
  • Judge.me publishes the review content
  • No email match found
  • Review appears but NOT marked as "Verified Purchase"
  • Review content still displays
  • No verification badge

Why Verification Matters

The Judge.me Sync Problem: Judge.me syncs orders from Shopify when they're first created. If your order was created with a placeholder email, Judge.me stores that placeholder in their database. Even if you later update the Shopify order with the real email, Judge.me doesn't automatically re-sync that change.

The Solution: Delayed Import. By using delayed import with the browser extension, orders are created in Shopify with real customer emails from the start. Judge.me syncs the correct email on first import, so verification works automatically when reviews are pushed.

Trust & Credibility

  • "Verified Purchase" badge increases buyer confidence significantly
  • Verified reviews carry more weight in purchasing decisions
  • Higher conversion rates with verified social proof
  • Unverified reviews may be seen as less trustworthy
  • Competitors with verified reviews have a conversion advantage

Common Issues & Solutions

Troubleshooting tips for Judge.me integration

"Judge.me can't verify email addresses"

This happens when orders were created with placeholder emails. Judge.me synced the placeholder and won't update automatically. Solution: Use delayed import with browser extension going forward. For existing orders, reviews will still publish, just not verified.

"API token invalid"

Go back to Judge.me → Integrations → View API Token. Verify you copied the complete Private API Token. Ensure no extra spaces were copied. Token should start with jdg_. Make sure you're using the Private API Token, not any other token.

"Wrong shop domain"

Use your full Shopify domain including .myshopify.com. Don't use a custom domain - use the Shopify one. Example: your-store.myshopify.com not www.yourstore.com

"Reviews not appearing in Judge.me"

Check that reviews were marked as "Accepted" in OrderBridge. Verify the product SKU matches between Etsy and Shopify. Check Judge.me dashboard for any errors or pending approvals. Ensure products are properly mapped in OrderBridge.

"Can I manually verify a review?"

No, Judge.me doesn't allow manual verification. Verification is automatic based on email matching. Judge.me support: "We don't manually mark reviews as Verified. Verification is applied automatically." Solution: Use delayed import to get automatic verification.
