Beta Feature

Etsy Product Push

Push your Shopify product data directly to Etsy listings. Sync titles, images, pricing, inventory, tags, and more — in bulk, without copy-pasting a thing.

★ Beta Feature

Product Push is currently in beta. Core functionality is stable and in active use, but some edge cases are still being refined. Feedback is welcome. This feature will be available on Growth and Unlimited plans once it exits beta.

How It Works

Three steps from Shopify to Etsy

Bidirectional control: Order sync brings Etsy orders into Shopify. Product Push sends Shopify product data back to Etsy. Together they give you full two-way control — with Shopify as your master catalog.

What You Can Push

Select any combination of fields per product — nothing is overwritten unless you choose it

📄

Title

Your Shopify product title applied directly to the Etsy listing.

Description

Shopify HTML description converted to clean plain text for Etsy.

🏷

Tags

Shopify product tags synced to Etsy (up to 13 tags, 20 characters each).

📷

Images

Full image set uploaded to Etsy in order. Replaces existing photos cleanly at each rank.

SVG files are automatically skipped — only JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP are uploaded to Etsy.

🎥

Video

Shopify product video (MP4) uploaded to the Etsy listing via the Etsy API.

💰

Price

Shopify variant price pushed to Etsy, with an optional +/− dollar adjustment to cover fees.

📦

Quantity

Sync live Shopify inventory, or set a custom fixed quantity override on Etsy.

📋

SKU

Push Shopify variant SKUs to Etsy for consistent tracking across platforms.

Weight & Dimensions

Variant weight plus L×W×H package dims. Values are saved back to Shopify metafields for re-use next time.

🏠

Category

Assign an Etsy taxonomy category from a searchable dropdown of all Etsy categories.

Two Ways to Use It

Update existing Etsy listings, or create new ones directly from Shopify

🔨 Update Existing Listing

Already have an Etsy listing? Push updated data from Shopify into it.

  • Auto-matched from your existing product mappings
  • Or search your Etsy listings and pick manually
  • Choose exactly which fields to overwrite
  • Supports batch push across many products at once

➕ Create New Draft

No Etsy listing yet? Create one directly from your Shopify product.

  • Title, description, price, tags copied automatically
  • Listing Type: choose Physical, Digital Download, or Both. Selecting Digital hides shipping profile and weight fields (not required by Etsy for digital products)
  • You choose who made it and when (Etsy requirement)
  • Select from your Etsy shipping profiles (Physical and Both only)
  • Listing saved as a draft — review before publishing
  • Renewal: choose Automatic or Manual listing renewal
  • Price Adjustment: enter a +/− amount on top of the Shopify price (e.g. +0.50 shows base → final price live)
  • Quantity: defaults to Shopify inventory; can be overridden
  • Weight & Dimensions: must be filled in before opening the modal — shown as a summary (Physical and Both only)
  • Category (Etsy taxonomy): must be selected before opening the modal
  • Processing Time: choose from standard options
  • The new draft is saved on Etsy as a Draft — you review and publish from Etsy

How Auto-Matching Works: When you open a product in Product Push, OrderBridge uses a priority-based system to pre-select the right Etsy listing:

  • Priority 1 — OrderBridge metafield: After every successful push or Inventory Hub sync, OrderBridge writes an orderbridge/etsy_listing_id metafield to the Shopify product. This is the most reliable match and is used first.
  • Priority 2 — SKU match: If no metafield is present, OrderBridge checks whether the product's SKU matches an existing product mapping. A clean SKU-to-SKU match is always trustworthy.
  • Priority 3 — No suggestion: If neither matches, no listing is pre-selected. You can manually search or create a new draft.

The Inventory Hub page also sets the metafield when you sync inventory — so products synced from Inventory Hub auto-match here too.

Getting Started

Make your first push in minutes

Open Product Push in your Dashboard

Click Product Push in the left sidebar of your OrderBridge dashboard. Your Shopify products will load automatically, sorted alphabetically.

Find Your Product

Browse all products or filter by Shopify collection. Products with an existing Etsy product mapping show a green indicator. Filter to “Mapped” to work through linked products first.

Match to an Etsy Listing

Click Push on a product. If a mapping exists, the Etsy listing is pre-selected. Otherwise, search your Etsy listings by title and choose the right one. Or click Create New Draft to start fresh on Etsy.

Select the Fields to Push

Tick only the data you want to overwrite: title, description, images, price (with optional +/− adjustment), quantity, tags, SKU, weight, dimensions, or category. Nothing changes unless you check it.

Push and Check Results

Click Push to Etsy. The job queues in the background. Open Job History to see per-field results — green for success, red for any issues with a description of what went wrong.

Image Push replaces all photos: Pushing images overwrites all existing Etsy photos with your Shopify images. Make sure your Shopify images are what you want on Etsy before pushing.

Dimensions are remembered: When you enter L×W×H during a push, they're saved back to your Shopify product as metafields. Next time you open that product in Product Push, the dimensions are pre-filled automatically.

Tips & Best Practices

✅ Map Products First

Use the Product Mappings page to link Shopify products to Etsy listings. Once mapped, Product Push auto-matches them — no manual search needed next time.

✅ Use Price Adjustment

Etsy charges listing fees and takes a percentage. Set a price adjustment (e.g. +$1.50) so your Etsy prices automatically account for this without affecting Shopify.

✅ Push Selectively

Only check what's actually changed. If you updated photos but not the description, just push Images. Avoid overwriting Etsy-specific copy you've carefully crafted.

❌ Watch Quantity + Auto-Restock

If you use Auto-Restock to maintain Etsy scarcity, pushing quantity will override the managed level. Only push quantity when you intentionally want to reset it.

✅ Review Drafts Before Publishing

When creating a new Etsy draft from Shopify, review it in Etsy before activating. Add any Etsy-specific details (materials, return policy) that don't live in Shopify.

✅ Check Job History

After a batch push, open Job History to confirm each field succeeded. Fields that hit an API limit or validation error are flagged individually so you know exactly what to fix.

🔁 Inventory Hub Sets the Match Too

Syncing inventory from the Inventory Hub page also establishes the product match for the Push page — no need to push first. Any product synced through Inventory Hub will auto-match here automatically.
